The Mission...
Mindest is not only a creative and integrative therapy practice. It’s also a social enterprise built around a simple idea: the people who hold others together rarely have the space to process the weight of what they witness.
Through the Mindest CIC, the focus shifts toward trauma, empowerment, and psychological education for those who spend their lives exposed to the suffering of others — first responders, blue light workers, and professionals who carry the emotional weight of difficult work.
Police officers, paramedics, firefighters, healthcare staff, and other frontline roles regularly witness things the human nervous system was never really designed to process alone. Over time, that exposure accumulates. Stress, emotional numbing, burnout, and trauma can quietly build in the background while the expectation to stay strong remains firmly in place.
The CIC exists to challenge that reality.
Through grants, donations, and funded programmes, Mindest CIC offers subsidised trauma-informed therapy, including approaches such as EMDR where appropriate, for people working in these high-impact roles.
Availability depends entirely on funding and the number of spaces available at any given time. When support is funded, reduced-cost sessions become accessible for those who may otherwise delay or avoid getting help.
If you work in a frontline or high-exposure role and feel that support could make a difference, you’re welcome to apply. Simply complete the enquiry form here. If funded spaces are available and the service is a good fit, we will be in touch.
